hide&seek was the title of hdk’s exhibition at the stockholm furniture fair in february of 2010 – titled after the ubiquitous children’s game, the collection emphasized the lighter side of life; the novel, the quirky, the dreamy, and the daring.

throughout the 4 month development phase, i took on the roles of project manager and creative director. i oversaw the graphic and exhibition design teams from our initial concept through to the final stand, along with managing the production of our printed and other materials sourced for our display. in addition, i wrote the creative brief, scheduled meetings, became a copywriter and editor, and directed the photo-shoot for our products and furniture.

although a departure from my usual position as a designer, it was a great experience for me to have the responsibility of producing our exhibition, and while it was stressful at times, the end result was quite rewarding.
