widu™ is a collaborative startup project developed in the spring of 2010. we wanted to reverse the traditional viewpoint that those who wanted to help the world should do so by being a non-profit organization. our goal was to take a simple idea, Trees Are Good, and leverage the visibility of the internet to create a viable business concept.

working together with my partners from ideation through to our current status of pre-release was an exciting adventure. questioning things such as value propositions and alternative revenue streams were once topics that seemed far from me, but through this project i’ve found a new found interest in business and entrepreneurship as a way of taking my passion for design further.
